The SD Card Association (SDA) has established SD Specification Version 2.0 for the SDHC (SD High Capacity) Memory Card. This has been developed to support the higher capacity requirements. The new SD 2.0 specifications, supports 2GB capacity and up, it is called Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC).
