For anyone interested, DPReview.com has posted their review of the Nikon D3. At this point I’m not sure that the review will really swing anyone one way or the other but if you’re on the fence about picking one up, or renting our fine copy, check out the review.
Nikon has released an updated firmware for their flagship D3 body. We’ve updated ours and haven’t encountered any issues. For full details on the firmware update and to download the firmware use the links below.

Well, I’ve wanted to get a blog started since we first opened last summer and its finally here. At this point I’m not exactly sure what is going to be posted here. Certainly any news related to glassandgear.com and a few of our other projects that are in the works but I’ll probably also end up chatting about photography gear in general and anything else that comes to mind. If there are any topics that you think I should cover in the blog let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
